March 1 2005 - Object Consulting is excited to announce that we've acquired the consulting and education businesses of Software Engineering Australia (S:E:A).

Both these business areas will form a core part of Object's new Capability Improvement Division. This division has been established to focus on the provision of end-to-end process improvement for software engineering by looking at the people, processes and tools that increase an organisation's overall capability to deliver software.

The S:E:A Education course range will be integrated with the current course range of Object Training, the commercial training division of Object Consulting. The combined offering will provide our customers with access to an expanded course range around application development, process improvement and software testing as well as much greater choice, flexibility and customisation of their training requirements. You'll be hearing further details on our combined course range in the near future.

Arrangements have been made for any existing services that had been booked through S:E:A to be honoured through Object. We're also pleased to let you know that the team at S:E:A Education and Consulting have moved across to join Object.
