While reviewing their software testing initiatives, many organisations make statements about being "a Software Testing Centre of Excellence". But what does that actually mean? What is 'excellence' in software testing? What is required to be a centre for excellence? What team structures, what roles and activities are to undertaken? How do organisations get from where they are to attain the lofty goal of 'excellence'? A Centre of Excellence (COE) focuses on refining the skills and delivery, and continuously adopting best practice, so that they can delivery the customer highly-valued outcomes in the most efficient and effective way that they are capable of. It is a constant drive to improve value, efficiency and effectiveness. This one-day workshop provides a comprehensive overview of the drivers, activities and issues that you have to consider to establish a COE for Software Testing.
