This one-day course explains and demonstrates the main uses of Swing and the Abstract Windowing Toolkit (AWT) in developing Java graphical user interface (GUI) applications. The course will cover top-level and general purpose containers, basic controls and interactive displays, as well as event-handling and changing look and feel.
