Paul has over 25 years’ experience in information technology and has a wide breadth of experience that includes senior positions in both academic instructions and commercial organisations. An experienced consultant, Paul is an excellent communicator, drawing from his many years of experience as a university lecturer and trainer.
Possessing a wide body of technical expertise, Paul has a deep knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design using Use Case, Class, Sequence, Activity, Communication and State Machine Diagrams. He also is an expert in using the Unified Modelling Language (UML) as a semi-formal specification method and in using Sparx Systems’ Enterprise Architect, Techno Solutions Visual Use Case, and TopTeam Analyst, No Magic’s Magic Draw UML, IBM’s RequistePro and DOORS for Requirements gathering and documentation.
Paul is sought after as a trainer and expert practitioner in Process Modelling using BPMN (Business Process Modelling Notation).
Paul is the National Learning Programs Manager for Object Training, the commercial training division of Object Consulting. Paul uses his technical expertise to review all courses developed by others, renovate existing course material, and write new courses.
Paul is a member of the Australian Computer Society and a member of the Association of Computing Machinery, New York.
Diana joined Object Training in December 2006 as Training Coordinator responsible for the venue and trainer logistics. After several years as a teacher, Diana branched out into the travel industry, then into conference organisation and the coordination of study tours world-wide. Although fairly new to the training and IT industry, Diana brings enthusiasm and attention to detail to her logistical role of making sure everything happens effectively and on-time. She just wishes she could have the same effect on her cats!
Leesa joined Object Training in March 2008. Leesa has a strong background in administration, working in Australia and the UK over the past 15 years. As a Training Administrator, Leesa enjoys working within a team environment responsible for administration, customer enquiries, participant registrations, course invoicing and payments. Personally Leesa enjoys travelling and living abroad, but has recently returned to her birthplace Sydney to enjoy the Australian lifestyle once again. Leesa is passionate about continued improvement of processes, problem solving and customer service.
Peter Wong has been in the IT industry for over twenty-five years. Over that time, he has worked as a programmer, systems analyst, software architect, technical consultant and project manager. He has worked in both business applications and technical software development on a wide variety of platforms. He also worked in academia (CIT/Monash University) for three years while he completed his graduate studies in computing. In that period he developed and taught courses in natural language processing, operating systems, compiler theory, and TP systems. On returning to industry, he maintained his association with the university by developing and conducting training courses for Monash Professional (formerly known as the Pearcey Centre). These courses include C Programming, C++ Programming, Object-Oriented Design, and Agile Software Development. He currently conducts Java and JavaEE training for Object Training. He is also knowledgeable and experienced in UML, Agile Software Development and Object-Oriented Design.
Les has been teaching Java courses at various levels since 1997. He has taught at Macquarie University in the Department of Computing at all levels from first year to Honours and Masters. He has taught Java, C++ and UML courses for Object Training since 2000.
Anthony joined Object in 1996 as a Trainer, teaching areas such as C++, JAVA, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET and .NET Framework, Design Patterns, Object Oriented Analysis and Design using UML, XML, Modelling User Requirements. Anthony has extensive experience in object oriented design and technology OOAD, computer graphics, finance, and insurance, with a broad knowledge of advanced automated manufacturing and tooling concepts. He is a Microsoft Certified Trainer (VC++ and MFC, COM/ATL) and has a Master of Technical Science Degree (Computer Applied in Engineering). Anthony is a PADI scubadiving instructor, and also teaches Argentine Tango as well as underwater photography.
Julie is a successful IT Project Manager and Business Analyst with over 20 years experience delivering IT services for business value. She has been delivering and developing courses in Business Analysis for Object Training since 2007, and has trained and mentored over 500 IT professionals in Business Analysis and Project Mangement methodologies. Julie is certified in PMBOK and PRINCE2 Project Management and is currently studying for BABOK certification.
