Understanding UML using Sparx EA
Course Outline
UML provides a common vocabulary for expressing business requirements and software architecture / design. This course is a two-day introduction to each of the 13 UML 2 diagram types. In addition, these diagram types are shown in context so the participant will learn where UML can be used throughout the software development lifecycle.
This course is for anyone who needs to understand (whether using, interpreting, or reviewing) UML documentation as part of their work and wants to learn how to draw some or all of these diagrams using Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect. The course provides an overview of where these UML diagrams can be used in the Requirements Model, the System Model and/or the Architecture Model for a system.
Your understanding of UML will result in better team communication and synergy.
