Business Analysis Essentials

Course Outline

This course introduces the recently released Business Analysis Essentials (The Business Analysis Book of Knowledge, published by the IIBA) to the participants. It covers all 7 Knowledge Areas and provides an excellent introduction to the whole field of Business Analysis. The course provides a mix of theory and practice by integrating the learning of the BABOK’s Knowledge Areas into an integrated case study where the participants are given an opportunity apply the theory.

 

This course provides 14 PDUs (Professional Development Units) towards IIBA accreditation.

    Course Learning Objectives/Outcomes

    At the end of this course you will have:

    A knowledge of the structure of the BABOK 2

    An understanding of the roles defined in the BABOK 2

    An understanding of each of the 7 Knowledge Areas in the BABOK 2 and where to use them.

    A knowledge of the techniques recommended and required in each Knowledge Area.
